Circulating Libraries

The circulating library is a concept that bases strongly on sharing, reusing, and creating a network of support to enhance reach of a book with minimal resources. The concept revolves around the creation of a centralized resource hub where a multitude of class books-sets and other educational resources will be made available for teachers to lend out during their class sessions. They will be responsible for returning the books so that other teachers can then have access to the class book-sets. Trained librarians will be there to support them and the children during their selection process.

Together with the librarians, a centralized archiving and resource database is currently being  which will allow for categorization of books, maintenance of feedback and comments, monitor the number of copies lend out and to whom, and best of all, it will be available for sharing across all circulating libraries in the country so that each library and librarian will have access to all the information. Moreover, it will enable a network of librarians to cooperate with each other and support this process so that it is simplified and improved on a daily basis.
