The Problem
Many schools in Kosovo lack books, structured reading programs, and trained support. Without these foundational tools, students struggle with comprehension and confidence.
How We Improve Reading Comprehension

Reading Hours
Weekly classroom reading sessions where students read the same book together while teachers guide them using structured reading strategies.

Training Teachers
We train teachers in evidence-based reading comprehension strategies and provide them with a practical guide to apply during reading hours.

Books
We carefully select, translate, and distribute children’s literature in Albanian that sparks curiosity, discussion, and critical thinking.

Libraries
We revitalize unused spaces into child-friendly libraries and create circulating libraries where books are shared between schools and teachers.

Get Involved
Your contribution is extremely valuable for the children. We are transparent with all our expenditures and use the money wisely and efficiently. Funds to the project will solely be used for purchasing books, materials or any other costs that is necessary, within the framework of the project. We will be share on the website, in line with our goal for full transparency the quarterly financial reports and the annual report for the project.
